Busy times ahead!

An amazing week we have had this week.  The response from the community has been overwhelming and we now know that this market will be a hit in the area.  We have some fantastic businesses already to come on board with us.  Spoil & Indulge of course will be there with all their amazing handmade candles, soaps plus their workshop of "Kool Candles" in our children's area. 

We are sure the Candlemaking Workshops will be a big hit for the children.

Linda Lily Cottage will be there with all their beautiful handmade goodies.  Linda's cushions, handmade handbags, brooches are stunning.

Linda also has a retail outlet at Old Petrie Town showcasing all her work.


TrishAlan Designs will be attending.  Trish I am sure will have plenty of her Hand Dyed Fabric, threads, Kumihimo Supplies plus her new book which is a must for all people looking at teaching their craft.


Funky baby bibs will be there with a large variety of their Funky Baby Bibs.  Their designs and fabrics of there bibs are modern and hip. 

These are just a handful of stallholders who will be showcasing their work at our markets.  In the next few weeks we will be sharing with you all our stallholders.  Please check out their websites .

The start of our little place of Handmade!

Paperwork has been sent in and now some photo's of our venue.  The town of Ningi is home to over 700 homes but it is also the entrance to Bribie Island.  Ningi Community Hall is surrounded by shady trees, BBQ's, tables and a playground for children. 

We picked this location because being on the main road you won't miss us plus we have the added bonus of a hall for people who do not have marquees.  There is also amble room to stroll around the grounds plus a fantastic park for the children to play in.  Amble parking for all.

It's Official.

The Creative Market is now officially booked into The Ningi Community Hall on Bribie Island Road at Ningi for Saturday 9th July 2011.  We will be utilising the hall with a limited amount of small stalls but outside will be where all the action will be.  We have room for 40 stalls outside.  Please email us at thecreativemarket@hotmail.com for information regarding stalls.  If you make it, bake it or grow it this market is for you. 

In the coming weeks we will be advertising this event through social network pages, letterbox drops through the Caboolture/Bribie Island area as well as advertising in the local newspapers.


Our grand opening market on the 9th July will be themed "Christmas in July".  Markets will start at 8am -2pm.

We are excited.  What a way to showcase the work of many talented people in our community and supporting locals.

The Creative Markets

We are currently looking at a fabulous place in Ningi Queensland to hold our first market which will be in July.  The Creative Markets is a brand new market showcasing talented and creative people in the area.  I am amazed at how creative people are.  Stay tune for exciting news which will come in the next couple of days.
